About this experience

Let the Adventures Begin...2 hour onsite freshwater discovery

Focused on freshwater ecology, conservation, macroinvertebrate discovery, trout heritage, aquaponics, and hydropower. 

Guided by our experienced Kaiako/educator and supported by our on-site scientist and aquarium manager, students explore the Trout Centre through an engaging museum, native freshwater aquarium, and hatchery tour.  

The experience also includes interactive fish feeding and opportunities to connect with local waterways, aquatic life, and environmental stewardship in a fun and memorable way.
