About this Package: 

This is a 20-minute kids' fishing experience intended to introduce kids to a fly-fishing experience in a safe and professional setting. 

Ages 5-17 only

This fishing package runs during school holidays and only during specific days and times.

LIMITED spaces available. Book online to avoid disappointment. 

Please note: this has an approximate 90% catch success rate!

Our team will do everything they can to help your child catch a fish; however, a catch is no longer guaranteed under this fishing package.  

What's included?

→ Guided experience with a professional angler

→ Fishing pond license for the child

→All equipment provided, and

→ Admission to the museum, aquarium, and hatchery for the child

• Filleting and smoking options are to be purchased separately. 
• If your child does not want to keep their fish, we can freeze it and donate the fish to one of our NZ zoos. 
• Don't forget to add admission for other family members who may want to visit the museum, aquarium, and hatchery.
• We are a charitable not-for-profit organisation supported by many volunteers; your support and understanding is greatly appreciated. 

IMPORTANT notes: 

*Arrive 10 minutes before your booked timeslot to ensure you have enough time to process your license and walk to the fishing pond.

*Fish catches are highly likely, but no longer guaranteed. 

*Fish filleting and smoking options are purchased separately. 

Cancellation Policy:

We understand plans can change. To help us manage staffing and booking availability, the following cancellation policy applies: 

• Cancellations made between 24 and 12 hours before your booking time will receive a 50% refund.
• Cancellations made within 12 hours of the booking time are non-refundable. 
• Bookings cancelled with more than 24 hours' notice will receive a full refund.

If you need to make changes to your booking, please contact us as soon as possible. We will always do our best to help where we can.
